MPX Series Motorized Impact Testing System
Instron introduces the MPX Series of motorized pendulum impact testers ideal for testing metals to Charpy and Izod standards. Safe, quick and easy to operate, the MPX is available in capacities from 300 to 900 J. Fracta™ Software for simple data acquisition and calculation of energy is included with the system.

- Motor-driven raising of hammer with auto-return after test for increased productivity and operator safety
- Electromagnetic brake/clutch control allows hammer to be safely dropped
- Dual latched hammer to avoid accidental release
- Safety enclosure with interlocks prevents drop of hammer and stops movement when any door is open
