Designed primarily for high capacity tension testing, the single test space design of the LX system allows for compression, bend/flex, and shear testing. The LX Model is powered by a hydraulic pumping system that moves a long stroke actuator assembly to provide the forces necessary for testing.

- Ideally suited for tensile proof and ultimate strength tests on fasteners, chain, threaded-end and shoulder-end specimens, wire rod, and sheet materials.
- Available with manual crosshead locks and notched columns or automatic lifts and locks to adjust test opening.
